Smooth Retsina Glow is one of the most dynamic, creative, and musically invigorating bands to emerge from the Lehigh Valley in recent years. Currently consisting of Colin Wolf, Sandra Warner, Devin Wachter , and Quincy Wellen the group has already achieved a significant level of critical and commercial acclaimed, a slew of unique original albums, and an active performing cycle in the Tri-State Area, averaging 200 plus shows a year.
Formed in 2019, Smooth Retsina Glow's original years were marked by a variety of lineups, and surviving a pandemic, but it always managed to keep intact as a brand and has released 6 original studio albums. Headed by Colin Wolf, the band would take on a new quality with the arrival of Drummer Quincy Wellen, and Bassist Devin Whacter in 2023. a second studio effort, “Through the Needles Eye ,” was released in 2016 under the Listening Post label.. From there the band received radio airtime, and their single, “ Fervor” was featured on Philly’s Alternative Rock station 104.5FM and now has reached over 40.000 streams on their platforms. A 6th album Incandescence introduced co-vocalist Sandra Warner to the band, with Singles Strike of Lighting and Once more to live earning them a feature in Relix Magazine, and a wide variety of Local and international airplay.
The band has performed sets at the Musikfest, Iron Pigs Stadium, Shawnee Craft 16th Anniversary, Sellersville Theater Sellersville, PA, 118 North on Philadelphia’s Main Line, The Grape Room in Manayunk, PA, Midnight Mountain Music Show in Blakeslee, PA, and Octoberfest in Medford, NJ. In December 2025, they were selected amongst 12 other bands and won a spectacular victory at Signature Events Center Battle of the Bands in Stroudsburg, which the band followed up with a tour in Florida during January 2026.
They are among one of the most versatile and dynamic acts the Lehigh Valley can feature. With a playlist stretching from the 1960s to the present day, and a variety of different configurations, the band is able to cater to any room's ensemble requests or stylistic preferences, which they perform with a high level of professionalism and craftsmanship.
